How You Can Help

Become a S.A.F.E Volunteer

Becoming a S.A.F.E volunteer is a great way to meet new people and to extend and apply your existing skill base. It's a great way to learn new skills in an area that interests you.

The areas of Volunteer work are almost unlimited and you can choose to devote the amount of time to volunteering that suits your lifestyle - every little bit helps. Some of the areas in which you may be interested in are foster caring, placement and monitoring of pets in care, various administrative roles, including finance, database applications, photography, answering phones, typing, filing, general errands, fundraising - you name it! Just contact us to have a chat about how you can become a S.A.F.E volunteer - we would really love to hear from you.

Become a Foster Carer

Becoming a foster carer is a great way to help an animal in need by opening your home to a cat or a dog on a temporary basis. This can range from a short to long term foster care or even just on one occasion. You will have ongoing support from S.A.F.E whilst you have an animal in your care and you will be part of the placement process for your foster pet. It is a very fulfilling experience to be involved in enabling an animal who had little hope for the future to be placed in a permanent loving home.

Become a Member of Friends of S.A.F.E

Friends of S.A.F.E is a supporters group formed to enable anyone to help save a life.  Even if you cannot have a pet in your home or cannot volunteer your time, you can still help S.A.F.E by showing your support and getting the word out to people who may not know about us.  When you become a member you will receive a Member Pack which includes a bumper sticker to show your support and other S.A.F.E gifts.  Please click HERE for an application.

Buy your precious pet a personalised collar

S.A.F.E Karratha alone receives over 600 calls every year from owners who have lost their pets and people who have found a pet roaming or injured.  Many of these pets have no collars or identification.  Help your pet and help S.A.F.E by purchasing a pet collar with your pets name and your phone number embroidered onto it.  All proceeds go to S.A.F.E.  Click HERE for more information.
