Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) sponsors Tom Price SAFE

In November of 2011, Scott Hansen (Fortescue Metals Group Tom Price Community Office), advised Mercede Fox (Tom Price SAFE coordinator) that FMG would provided SAFE Tom Price with a $1500 sponsorship. This week those funds entered Tom Price SAFE's bank account!
The $1500 is to be split as follows:
- $500 is to assist in taking animals to the Paraburdoo airport. Each (approximately) 120km return trip will receive $20 towards fuel costs.
- $1000 is to assist in the Pilbara Paws Walk--a SAFE Tom Price fundraiser planned to take place in Tom Price on 6 May 2012, and again in Paraburdoo on 27 May 2012, (currently awaiting shire approval). These funds will be used to hire a marquee/tent, and to purchase merchandise, raffle prizes, etc. All money raised from this event will go to SAFE Tom Price.
