SAFE Karratha alone receives over 600 calls every year from owners who have lost their pets and from people who have found a pet roaming or injured. Many of these pets have no collars or identification and some pets never return home.
|
Help your pet get back home safely by simply making sure your pet wears a collar and tag at all times. You never know when your pet may become lost. Ensure the phone number on your collar is answered regularly.
It is essential even if your pet is microchipped as the person who finds your pet probably does not have a microchip scanner!

Your pet's chance of being reunited with you is also greatly increased if your pet is registered with your local Shire. Not only is it unlawful not to do so, but all reputable animal rescue groups will inform the Shire of found pets.

For pets who often lose their tags you can purchase a pet collar with your pets name and your phone number embroidered onto it. All proceeds go to SAFE. Click HERE for more information.
