Hello to you all.
I thought you may like to see how lovely I look now, 6
months after I arrived at my new home.
My fur has grown so much, I look absolutely beautiful. I had no idea
this is what I was supposed to look like. I also have a lovely little blue
collar with a row of diamonds on the top - Roma calls it my special girly
bling. David gives me a bath from time
to time and I just love it.
The food I get here is verrrrry nice - a special raw
mince. I also get organic biscuits and
sometimes David gives me little bits of bacon.
About twice a week I get a raw egg mixed in with my mince as well coz we
have chooks in back yard.
I have a special door that I can come and go all day
long. Mostly I follow David everywhere he goes as I have him wrapped around my
paws well and truly. When he goes to
read on the bed in the afternoon, I sneak in and have a sleep on the wonderful
feather doona on the end of the bed - it is heaven! I would just luuuuuuuv to sleep there at
night, but.....I get put into my own bed to sleep.
I follow David every where he goes.....he is my hero.
There are a couple of little kids that come to visit
each Saturday - the little fella (6) and I are the best of friends and he just
loves me so much. He also shares his
morning tea with me when the adults are not looking.
Roma and David have had a lovely white picket fence
put around the side verandah and part of the front verandah, so I not only have
the back yard but I now have a much bigger safe area to keep an eye on things.
I cannot actually get out into the front yard - they tell me it is not safe for
me, so I understand that.
I let everyone know when anyone drives in the gate way
down the front of the block - I hear them well before Roma and David and I make
sure they know straight away.
I have done a couple of things that I should not have
done. One was to chew up one shoe of
Roma's brand new pair of HOMEY PEDS sandals...yep it was great fun. I did not get into trouble though because
Roma knows I had a pretty rough start in life. Roma has now learned to put her
shoes away properly! The other thing
was.... I thought I looked pretty good as a table "centre piece" for
the dining table - decoration so to speak.....it was a learning curve for Roma
and David - they have now learned to put the chairs where they are supposed to
be when not in use - back in against the table.
When I want to win a heart, I sit and grin at everyone
- it is a really great party trick I use.
I am having a special treat for Christmas lunch - the
little kids and their Mum and Dad are coming around, so that will be fun
because I will get to see what is in all the pressies. Roma has told me I will have a little bit of
the Chicken, Pork and Beef that they are having.....and......I know there are a
couple of pressies under the tree for me, but I cannot reach them because the
tree was put high up onto the lounge far out of my reach, I guess it was
because they thought I might take the decos off and chew them up.
Thank you all for finding me such a great place to
live .....they love me heaps.
Have a wonderful Christmas,
Love from Losey
