Hi
I recently adopted ‘Pixie’, a gorgeous little
Terrier X from SAFE Karratha. It was the
second best thing I have done in a very long time. The first thing was adopting a SAFE dog from
Broome, a few months prior – “Spencer”, also a Terrier X but he is deaf. I thought it would be wonderful to have
another dog to keep him company and hopefully teach him a few things. Well, Pixie’s done all of that and more
(unfortunately she’s teaching him a few naughty things, as well as good!). I love these photos – Spencer is sleeping on
Pixie in one, and in the other they are playing in their favourite spot … the
only dirt patch in the entire backyard! I just wanted to thank all the SAFE staff for
the wonderful job that they do, and for giving me Spencer and Pixie. I
can’t imagine living without them now!
